FIRST WEBINAR FOR 2009
AWMA is pleased to announce JoAnn Hackos, PhD, will be presenting our first webinar of 2009: "Surviving and Thriving in a Flat World." This hour-long event will take place Thursday, February 5, 2009, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Eastern Time. The cost is $50 (US) for AMWA members, $150 for nonmembers—a great opportunity for career development at an affordable price!

NEW “ABOUT MEDICAL COMMUNICATION” SECTION ADDED TO
AMWA WEB SITE
Check out the new "About Medical Communication" section just added to the AMWA Web site; you can find the link on AMWA's home page. The new section offers information about the profession (what medical communicators do, where they work, what they earn), academic programs in medical communication, and advice for breaking into the field.
